Fuel Polishing
Fuel polishing is a cleaning process used to filter and remove microbial contamination from diesel fuel that has been sitting for somtime. At J5 Marine we pump all of the diesel out of your vesels tanks and run it through our proproetary filtration setup removing any water, debris, and microbial contamination.When possible we then clean the empty tank or tanks and put the freshly cleaned fuel back into the clean tank and add additeves. If a vessel has been sittong for at least a year we recommend doing this to keep your fuel system and injectors working properly.
